JETS fans are being encouraged to once more transform a major cup final venue into a golden home from home to try to push their team on to victory on Sunday.
The BBL Trophy final venue is the Guildford Spectrum in Surrey, and despite the fact Jets fans have only had one week’s notice since the semi-final to get mobilised, Jets head coach Paul Smith is calling on them to once more get behind the team as they try to win some silverware.
“The fans were fantastic in the cup final against Sheffield at the NIA,” he said.
“They are always fantastic. I know it is going to be more difficult with the short notice for them to get down but I am confident those who can, will and that will mean a lot to us.”
Their opponents, Newcastle Eagles, are guaranteed to bring a huge black-and-white following but the Jets are being asked to brighten up proceedings with their trademark golden t-shirts.
Fans making their own way should have picked up their tickets last night, but fans wanting to travel on the official coaches can still buy tickets atwww.jetsbasketball.org.uk.
Including transport tickets are priced £35 for adults and £30 for children.
The bus will leave Whitby High School on Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port at 8.30am on Sunday and is due to return around 10.30pm.
