CHESTER Wheelchair Jets kept their play-off dream alive with an 83-36 win over Lothian Phoenix at Darland Sports Centre on Saturday.

Star man Dave Robertson led the way with 31 points to cap a performance that left Chester coach Peter Barron beaming.

Barron said: 'This was without doubt the most impressive display I have ever seen from a Jets team. The team who were more up for the game won it.'

Chester hit 84% of their shots, vindicating Barron's decision to have the team working on shooting at training sessions during the week.

While Robertson top-scored for Chester, leading contributions came from new signing Paddy Forbes (20) and Christine Doyle 10.

Jets visit Bradford Bears this weekend and host Thames Valley Vikings on Saturday, March 3 (1pm tip).

If they win those games, Chester will book their place in the play-off finals at Stoke Mandeville in May.
