The Chester & District Sunday Football League held its annual presentation evening for the 2015/16 season at Boughton Hall Cricket Club.

League vice chairman Keith Bolton, secretary Trevor Jones and committee member presented the trophies and shields to the successful teams and individuals.

For the second successive season, AFC Saltney were the big winners having been crowned Section A champions, retaining the title won in 2014/15.

FC Blacon again finished as runners-up in Section A with AFC Bears Paw in third.

Ellesmere Port side Westminster claimed the Section B title to complete a tremendous treble having lift the Bill Gresty Memorial Trophy and the Wirral & District FA Sunday Amateur Cup.

The runners-up spot in Section B went to League Cup winners Sutton Casuals with Upton Youth Centre finishing third.

Sutton Casuals were presented with the Giantkillers Trophy having beaten three Section A teams to reach the League Cup final.

The individual player of the season awards were presented to Luke Jones from St Theresa's PC for Section A and 27-goal striker Wayne Manning from Purple Olive for Section B.

The season's leading scorers were AFC Saltney's Nathan Jones with 21 goals in Section A and Westminster's Chris Yew with 35 goals in Section B.
