The University Church of England Academy has expressed delight at the outcome of this year’s A level results.

Principal at the Ellesmere Port acadmey, Kevin McDermott, said: “They are the culmination of hard work by both students and staff and timely support from parents.

“After four years in the academy the students’ achievements are a reflection of their commitment to our vision of success for all and our ambition for our community.

“This set of results demonstrates another continuum in our improvement, with all indicators being better than previous years, our overall pass rate was 98% with 74% of students achieving high grades.

“I would like to congratulate all our A level students on these fantastic achievements and wish them well on their next exciting step in life.”
