Two people from Chester appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court this morning, facing charges of drug supply and property offences.

Rayhan Uddin, 30, and Rofica Shah, 35 of Essex Road in Newton were arrested after police raided their home yesterday morning and uncovered large quantities of cash and Class A and C drugs.

Both were charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, Class C drugs and possession of criminal property.

Their case has been sent to Chester Crown Court where they will appear on Tuesday, August 18.

Uddin has been remanded in custody while Shah has been granted conditional bail.
