Jorgie, who grew up in Trafford, Manchester, said: “I’m so excited, it’s every girl’s dream to play a princess and Snow White is one of the best!

“What an honour it is to be appearing at the Liverpool Empire too, which is such a beautiful theatre, and the pantomime audiences are the best in the country so I can’t wait to see everyone.”

It was while appearing on I’m a Celebrity that Jorgie became emotional when revealing her family’s struggle to secure her dream place at dance school.

Finally, her wishes came true when she gained a government grant which paid for her musical theatre course at The Hammond, where she is fondly remembered.

Joining Jorgie in Snow White are Empire pantomime favourites, Radio City breakfast show presenter Leanne Campbell as the Wicked Queen and Liam Mellor as the lovable comic Muddles.
