It may be the Year of the Horse but youngsters at a preschool stayed with a dragon when Chinese New Year came round.
All the children at Capenhurst Village Preschool, which meets in the Village Hall on Capenhurst Lane, helped to make the dragon.
It then went walkabout around the playground with children and staff underneath playing instruments including shakers and drums.
The preschool says the children were involved in a whole range of activities during the week including Chinese food tasting and making individual dragons and Chinese lanterns to celebrate the occasion.
