A TEENAGER who pleaded guilty to affray could be jailed today.

The 16-year-old from Lostock, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Vale Royal Youth Court this morning.

He admitted the charge at a hearing two weeks ago, when the court heard he threatened a group of youngsters with a 12-inch meat cleaver. The case was adjourned to allow the Probation Service to compile pre-sentence reports, and magistrates told the defendant to prepare for the worst.
