PUPILS from several schools demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of subjects when they took part in the Northwich heats of Rotary’s Youth Speaks contest.

Subjects ranged from a talk on bullying delivered by a team from Wincham Primary School to a thoughtful exploration of a Tibetan versus British childhood from Antrobus Primary School and the problems of waste according to a team from The Grange School, Hartford.

The Grange won but the others were so good they were also chosen to go through to the next stage of the contest.
