YOUNGSTERS enjoyed the latest technology and a new chilling-out area in Ellesmere Port Library’s latest facility.
The new Youth Zone is packed with computers and consoles, Wii and PlayStation games machines, while there’s also a place to browse magazines, play games or even try something arty. And even better news - its all free and you don’t have to be a member of the library to join in.
The Youth Zone is a joint project between the borough and county councils, funded by the Big Lottery Fund as part of the local Freedom to Play initiative.
It will be open to youngsters aged 11-16 every Monday, Thursday and Friday from 5-7pm, with some of the facilities available during usual library hours.
