LESSONS in discipline and teamwork were on the agenda for a group of Halton youths who took part in a course run by the emergency services.

The Kooldown Plus scheme was run jointly by Cheshire Police and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and saw young people being put through their paces with exercises ranging from canoeing to citizenship classes.

The group of 13-16-year-olds is the latest to complete the eight-week course and they recently attended a special graduation ceremony along with family and friends to mark their achievements.

The aim is to contribute towards a reduction in anti-social behaviour in Halton.
