GABRIELLA Cooksley is a girl of distinction.
The eight-year-old Hartford Primary School pupil was the outright winner of a Cheshire grading competition, which means she will represent the county at the regional finals.
Gabriella, of Kingsmead, a pupil at the Hartford School of Gymnastics, Anderton, topped grade six out of age rankings after winning the bar and beam competitions, finishing third in the floor and range and fourth on the vault, passing with distinction.
“Gabriella has been working hard on her grading since August and it paid off,” said coach Michelle Oakes.
