NORTH Wales Police has issued CCTV stills of a man they want to trace in connection with an alleged robbery at a toilet block in Wrexham.

A man was approached and had his wallet, containing a small amount of cash and personal items, stolen in the Albion car park toilets on St Giles Road.

The offender is described as being in his early 30s, about 6ft tall, of medium build.

He wore a white baseball cap with a dark coloured peak, a two tone coloured top, which was black in the middle with white sleeves, and blue jeans.

He was said to be carrying a khaki coloured holdall.

The incident occurred at around 12.45pm on Tuesday, November 11.

DS Arwyn Jones of Wrexham CID said: “We have released these images in the hope somebody will recognise the man and come forward.

“He was seen hanging around the toilets and the nearby telephone box for a considerable time before the incident took place and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him or who may have information relating to the incident to contact us.”

No one was injured during the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DS Jones at Wrexham CID on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The images show the man’s top as pink, but this is due to the camera and the top is actually black.
