YALE Rotary Club has been fundraising for Clwyd Special Riding Centre.

Club president John Savage was delighted to hand over the £850 raised by members in a bag packing session at Wrexham’s Marks and Spencer store.

Centre manager Tess Chew said: “Without volunteers like the Rotary Club who come in to help every week the centre could not run.”

The Riding Centre, based in Llanfynydd, provides riding, equestrian vaulting and carriage driving opportunities for people with special needs.

Rotarian Hywel Williams said: “Seeing these incredible people ride is inspiring.”
