PARENTS who send their children to a respite centre can feel confident they receive the best care possible after all staff achieved an NVQ.

Tapley Avenue, a children’s respite home on the outskirts of Acton Park, accommodates children aged eight-19 with varying disabilities and illness and is tailored to meet individual needs.

All staff have achieved the NVQ Level 3 Health and Social care, surpassing the 80% regulatory target.

Centre manager Nikki Hudson said: “The fact that the staff have exceeded the national target is a demonstration of their commitment and dedication to the job.”
