Carlos Edwards (2000-5): Helped the Dragons to promotion and the Football League Trophy. Now in the Premier League with Sunderland.
Dennis Lawrence (2001-6): The defensive giant was Player of the Season in 2003-4 and became the first Wrexham player to play in a World Cup in 2006 before leaving for Swansea City.
Hector Sam (2000-5): The striker scored 35 goals for the Dragons before a free transfer to Port Vale.
Josh Johnson (2006-8): The lightweight winger failed to have the same impact as his predecessors and was released in May.
Silvio Spann (2007-present): Again little impact so far and has been transfer-listed.
