OFFICERS from Wrexham CID and the local neighbourhood policing team are cracking down on burglaries in Wrexham.
Policing teams have been conducting high-visibility patrols in the Caia Park area and its surrounds, to reassure the public. This has been supported by early morning operations targeting suspects.
The local Community Safety Partnership is also implementing measures to make it harder for burglars to operate.
Detective Inspector Dave Roome of Wrexham CID said: “The public should be reassured that we are taking all possible steps to prevent burglaries from happening.
“At this moment in time, there is a large team of detectives, supported by community police officers and PCSOs, who are all working to catch offenders.
“No-one deserves to be the victim of burglary, and if the public take sensible precautions and continue to give us information, I am confident we will stop further offences from happening.”
Anyone with any information about a burglary should call Wrexham CID on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
