THE Mayor of Wrexham has been brushing up on his communication skills.
Cllr David Griffiths was given a lesson in sign language by Level 2 British Sign Language students at Wrexham’s Yale College.
The event formed part of the learning festival held at Queens Square on Saturday.
Other activities taking place included making hanging basket and holistic therapies.
There were representatives from Glyndr University, Gwersyllt Community Resource Centre, West Wrexham Learning Centres, Coedpoeth, Brynteg, Brymbo and Llay, Wrexham' Library and Information Service, Wrexham ITEC, Europe Direct Wrexham Training/Coleg Llysfasi and Wrexham Family Information Service offering advice.
