Wrexham council offer limited number of discounted senior railcards

WREXHAM County Borough Council has a limited number of senior railcards for sale for £19.99 – a discount of £6 – for all Wrexham residents aged over 60.

WREXHAM County Borough Council has a limited number of senior railcards for sale for £19.99 – a discount of £6 – for all Wrexham residents aged over 60.

Senior railcards, available at Contact Wrexham, 16 Lord Street, are valid for 12 months and allow the cardholder a third off all anytime, off-peak and advance fares.

Cllr David Bithell, lead member for the environment and transport, said: “Every journey made using a senior railcard saves money off the cost of fares and contributes to reducing carbon emissions which is a corporate priority for Wrexham council.”
