A WORKSHOP on identifying up to 36 species of butterfly found in the North Wales area is being held at Froncysyllte Community Centre.

The event, which takes place tomorrow (Friday) will be led by Butterfly Conservation North Wales branch organiser Jan Miller, who will give an illustrated presentation so participants can distinguish the difference between the species found locally, such as speckled wood, small tortoiseshell and comma butterflies.

After lunch there will be a workshop in the local churchyard to try to spot the butterflies.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
