THOUSANDS of women will be converging on Arley Hall this Sunday to take part in the Cancer Research UK Race For Life.

The non-competitive event kicks off at 11am and will see runners, joggers and walkers take to the 5km course around the Arley estate.

It is the fourth time Arley has hosted the Race for Life and this year organisers are hoping to raise more than £180,000.

Event co-ordinator Shelagh Bebington said: “The Race for Life event at Arley Hall and Gardens is always hugely popular.

“Once again we had a tremendous response from the public and places filled up very quickly.

“We have a fantastic fundraising record over the years and we are hoping to continue with that this time around.”
