FOUR Witton Albion girls teams took part in a huge international seven-a-side tournament at Moss Farm at the weekend.

FOUR Witton Albion girls teams took part in a huge international seven-a-side tournament at Moss Farm at the weekend.

A total of 56 teams competed in the various junior categories, with two U12 sides and an U14 and U16 team representing Witton.

The U14s reached the quarter-finals of their competition but were beaten 1-0 by Bolton Wanderers.

Paris Girls triumphed in the U16 event, beating Manchester City 3-0 on penalties. Liverpool Feds won the U14s and Crewe & Nantwich scooped the U12s title, beating Manchester City 1-0.
