WINSFORD MP and Shadow Health Minister Stephen O’Brien is backing the call by the Country Land & Business Association for improved access to broadband services in rural areas.
“I’ve been contacted by a large number of people in our area – rural businesses and home-workers – who are thoroughly fed up because they are unable to access proper and reliable broadband services which are sufficiently fast,” he said.
“As the recession continues to deepen, it’s important rural businesses can maximise the potential speedy broadband can offer.”
