A 60-YEAR-OLD Winsford man caught with speed has had a second charge against him dropped.
Milkman Peter Bebbington, of Weaver Street, admitted possessing amphetamines when he appeared at Northwich Magistrates Court last month. He was arrested when police raided his home at 5.20pm on April 3.
He was also charged with assaulting a police officer after 45-year-old Winsford-based PC Steve Anderson was hurt during the arrest.
Bebbington was due to stand trial on Friday, but the case was dropped. He was fined £150 for the drugs offence and ordered to pay the £60 court costs, and a £15 victim surcharge.
