A 58-YEAR-OLD Winsford man has been ordered to stay at home from 7pm-7am for the next two months after admitting benefit fraud.
Peter Hoy, 58, of Lulworth Close appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court yesterday, Wednesday.
He pleaded guilty to over-claiming income support and council tax benefit from Cheshire West and Chester Council and the Department for Work and Pensions.
He was overpaid £5,687.57 after failing to declare he lived with his wife between November 5, 2005-July 15, 2008.
As well as being given a curfew Hoy was ordered to pay legal costs of £200.
