ONE of the UK’s favourite Abba tribute shows has been given a brand new makeover.

Now in its 15th year, Abba Magic heads to the William Aston Hall at Glyndr University on Thursday, November 27. Featuring all of Abba’s 17 top 10 hits, Abba Magic is Britain’s original Abba show and revives the 70s and 80s supergroup phenomenon more than two decades on.

Glyndr University has teamed up with Abba Magic for a competition to give away four pairs of tickets – worth more than £50 a pair – for the pre-show dinner and performance.

For the first time a pre-show dinner is going to be offered in the university’s Restaurant 1887. The meal, starting at 6pm, will have a special Abba themed menu including Abba Fizz on arrival.

Abba Magic producer Michael Taylor said: “By the end of this year Abba Magic will have been lifting audiences to their platform-booted feet for as long as the original artists did during the seventies and eighties!”

Tickets for the concert are £15 (£14 for concessions) and are available from Wrexham Tourist Information Centre on 01978 292015 and See Tickets on 0871 230 5596 or online at www.seetickets.com. Tickets for the pre-show dinner and performance are priced £28. Contact Cora Thorne on 01978 293306 for more details or to see the menu visit www.glyndwr.ac.uk.

To enter the competition send your answer to the question: ‘Which country did the group Abba come from?’ and your name, address and daytime phone number to c.thorne@glyndwr.ac.uk. But be quick as the closing date is tomorrow – Friday, November 21. The winners will be drawn on Tuesday, November 25. The first four entries will win the prize. There is no cash alternative.
