A FORMER Wade Deacon pupil and internet prodigy is currently starring in Big Brother.

Liam Young, 18, of Widnes was lined up for a new version of the hit show which will star contestants who have special gifts.

The Weekly News covered Liam’s spectacular achievements in 2005 when, at the age of 16, the teenager managed to juggle his GCSEs with running his own internet business, at the time employing 12 people.

He was only eight when he started his first business in his bedroom after watching an older friend design web pages and now has a turnover of £200,000.

Liam will be one of 12 contestants competing for the £50,000 prize on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack, all of whom have been chosen because they have a gift.

Liam will be up against an Olympic boxing hopeful, a classical musician, a MOBO-nominated singer, a racing driver, a dancer, an Oxford University-educated conceptual artist, a fashion designer and a brother-and-sister circus duo.

Also in the house will be a beauty queen and former Miss Essex who has been a member of Mensa since the age of four.
