DEE BANKS class teacher Ros Larkins will miss this weekend’s fundraising fête – as she heads down south to tackle the London Marathon.
Ros, of Whitby, Ellesmere Port, is one of a team of five staff members and friends who will tackle the 26.2-mile race through the capital.
The runners are hoping to raise £6,000 toward four adapted tricycles and a hand-cycle for the Chester school’s pupils to enjoy.
Last year saw the creation of a £37,000 bike track in the school grounds, which was opened by Olympic champion Rebecca Romero.
