A FUN day at Whitby Sports and Social Club in Ellesmere Port has helped raise more than £5,000 for the Countess of Chester Breast Care Fund.
Around 200 people took part in a sponsored ‘Walk in the woods’ fundraiser in Stanney Woods, and then at night the club held a variety show with former Brookside actor Vince Earl as the compère.
