MUSIC fans are being offered the chance to win VIP passes to this year’s eagerly anticipated Whatfest.

Anyone booking a ticket for the three-day event at Riverside Farm, Whatcroft, will be automatically entered into the draw and have a chance of meeting the headline bands backstage.

Dodgy, The Bluetones and rising stars The Shallow Call are the big-name acts at Whatfest, held from Friday to Sunday, July 17-19.

More than 10,000 revellers are expected to descend on Mid Cheshire and tickets are selling fast.

Organiser Simon Bennett said: “The response we’ve had has been phenomenal.

“There has been terrific support for Whatfest – wherever I turn people are talking about it.

“We have music fans coming from all over the country, so we are expecting a huge turnout.

“One of the main reasons for starting Whatfest was to bring great music to Cheshire, and it would be devastating for us if local fans missed out by waiting to get tickets on the day.”

Tickets prices are £44 for a weekend pass and £18.50 for a day ticket.
