MUSIC fans are being urged to take advantage of early bird tickets for Whatfest 2009 before the end of the month.

Early booking discounts, which currently see day tickets priced at £16.50 and weekend passes £39.50, will come to an end on May 31.

Full prices will then apply, with day tickets £19.99 and weekend passes £44.99.

Held at Riverside Organic Farm, at Whatcroft, from Friday, July 17, the three-day extravaganza will combine a great atmosphere with fantastic music to provide one of the highlights of the North West’s musical calendar.

Camping will be available throughout the weekend. Britpop favourites Dodgy and The Bluetones, former Inspiral Carpets frontman Tom Hingley and The Shallow Call are all signed up to play.
