TOTS, infants and juniors at Brynteg School near Wrexham got into the festive spirit with a range of Christmas performances.

The school held two afternoon and evening concerts with separate performances by the nursery, reception and junior classes.

The nursery children acted out a play called There's Something Special Going On, a story about a Christmas angel who knows something wonderful is happening but doesn't know what, until she finds the baby Jesus.

Infants gave a rendition of The Little Red Hen, while juniors performed their own Christmas Idol concert - with contestants including Santa, Rudolph and Jesus.

Nursery teacher Deborah Hughes said: 'The children, parents and staff really did enjoy it
