WOULD you like a greater say in the way local health services are shaped and run?
West Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group is committed to involving local people in the decisions it makes.
It already has a membership scheme offering patients, carers and their families a greater say in how services are shaped and developed.
Now the Clinical Commissioning Group wants to build on this strong start to make its membership scheme bigger and better.
Local people are invited to join the group at a workshop on Thursday, July 5, from 9.15am-12.30 pm at St Mary’s Centre, St Mary’s Hill, Chester.
As part of the workshop, people will have a taste of real patient involvement when the Clinical Commissioning Group seeks their views about NHS 111, a new telephone service for urgent health problems which will be introduced next year.
Dr Claire Westmoreland, GP engagement lead for West Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “We want local people’s help to build our membership scheme into something that is bigger and better – that enables as many people as possible to have their say about their local NHS.
“Local people joined us at a workshop in February that generated many good ideas.”
