WREXHAM last night crashed out of the FA Youth Cup at the third round stage.
On a disappointing night for the young Dragons, midfielder Levi Macken was sent off in the first half and striker Joe Feeney carried off injured just before the break.
The Hornets took the lead after just 23 seconds when Peter Dean ran in to score.
Wrexham went two behind when defender Adrain Mariappa stooped in to head home.
Mariappa then almost handed the Dragons a lifeline on 23 minutes when he nearly put through his own goal.
But then Macken and Watford's Dean both saw red for raised hands.
Wrexham put up a brave second-half effort against the First Division side, but couldn't overcome the two-goal deficit.
