Walkers raise a healthy sum

MORE than 100 people joined the Wrexham Hospital League of Friends' annual sponsored walk at Erddig.

MORE than 100 people joined the Wrexham Hospital League of Friends' annual sponsored walk at Erddig.

This year the League has been raising funds for deaf and hearing impaired children in the hospital's Audiology department.

Deputy Mayor Mike Edwards has supported the walk over many years and this year he started the walkers off.

'We would like to thank all those that took part and their sponsors for making it a great event,' said Wrexham Hospital League of Friends chairwoman Margaret Bryden.
