THE North Wales Charity Ramblers have adopted Nightingale House Hospice and Hope House Children's Hospices as their chosen charities for this year.
The group organises a programme of challenging walks every year and members walk miles in all weathers to raise funds for local charities.
In 2004 they raised £7,500 for Hope House.
On Sunday, May 29, the group is holding a walk to mark Hope House and Nightingale House's 10th anniversaries.
The 10 to 15-mile Dee Valley Walk, will start from Corwen at 8am and follow the Dee Valley to Llangollen.
Alyn and Deeside Labour MP, Mark Tami, will also be dusting off his walking boots and taking part in the countryside challenge.
Ramblers leader, Chris Jones said: 'We are looking forward to the anniversary walk. We are encouraging other ramblers to take part in this scenic walk to show their support for their local hospices.'
Menai Owen-Jones, a fundraiser for Nightingale House said: 'We would like to thank the group for all of their fundraising efforts for both ourselves and Hope House - their support is much appreciated.'
