THERE will be a bear festival at Tatton Park this weekend.

From Saturday to Monday (April 11-13) the tourist attraction will be overrun with cuddly critters at a Teddy Bear Easter Festival.

Features in and around the mansion include an extravagant teddy wedding, quizzes, trails to follow, a ‘Build a Bear’ Workshop and Teddy Hospital both in the Stableyard, and a giant teddy to lead you around.

Also putting in an appearance is Goldilocks and the Three Bears; sleepy Eeyore and Winnie the Pooh, the site’s new spring lambs, piglets and Easter chicks, and Poz the Magician. There’s the chance to win a giant Easter Egg.

If teddy bears are not your thing, the Parkland and Spring Gardens are open to explore. There’s also an annual Easter Crafts and Country Shopping Fair in the Tenants’ Hall.

Park opens 10am-7pm (last entry 6pm). Prices: individual attraction – adult £4.50, child £2.50, family £11.50.
