Violinist selected for UK finals

CUDDINGTON violinist Sophie Rosa has been picked to represent Vale Royal in the UK finals of the Lions International Musical Contest.

CUDDINGTON violinist Sophie Rosa has been picked to represent Vale Royal in the UK finals of the Lions International Musical Contest.

The 20-year-old maestro, a student at the Royal Northern College of Music, is due to perform on Saturday, April 12, at the Birmingham Conservatoire.

The winner will represent the UK at the European competition in Cannes, France.
