A FUN-FILLED weekend is in store for revellers attending the annual Tilston Wakes festival.

A FUN-FILLED weekend is in store for revellers attending the annual Tilston Wakes festival.

It takes place this bank holiday weekend (August 24 and 25) and organisers are hoping this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever.

Thousands of people are expected to descend on the Tilston playing fields to enjoy a host of entertainment for all the family from 10am onwards on Sunday.

Admission is £3 for adults, £2 for pensioners and children under 16 are admitted for free. There is also a free car park.
