SUPPORTERS of troubled Northwich Vics turned out in force today to protest against the club’s landlord Mike Connett.
Fans formed a picket line at Wincham Avenue on Monday morning to “say goodbye to Connett”, ahead of his company Beaconet’s expected winding up today (Wednesday).
The former Vics chairman is fans’ public enemy number one after effectively evicting them from their home earlier this month.
One supporter said: “It is a chance to show the general public our solidarity as Vics fans, and that we’re willing to fight to the end.”
