VETERANS of the Far East campaign marked VJ Day, when World War II ended after Japan’s surrender in 1945, at a service of remembrance and thanksgiving at Northwich War Memorial.
Ron Dobson, president of the Northwich branch of the Burma Star Association, and the Mayor of Northwich Cllr Bob Robinson attended.
