Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club welcomes new captains to the helm

VALE Royal Abbey Golf Club got its season off to a driving start with captains taking up new roles.

Lyndon Carthew began his season as club captain by driving his ball off the picturesque 6,463-yard course’s first tee.

He was joined at the drive-off event by vice captain Ian Brandon, lady captain Beryl Carthew, vice lady captain Chris Wells, junior captain Nick Bettley and junior vice captain Ben Adams.

Vale Royal Abbey GC is located in Whitegate and was opened in October 1998.
