CHILDREN and adults from 10 Cheshire West and Chester primary and special schools and adult centres enjoyed a concert to mark the culmination of a two-year Ensemble in Residence programme at the Winsford Lifestyle Centre.The Veya Saxophone Quartet has provided 132 music activity workshops in special schools and day centres in and around Northwich and Winsford since 2007.Last term the professional musicians worked with talented participants from Rosebank and Cloughwood schools in Northwich and Hebden Green school in Winsford to write and perform music to accompany silent film.For the concert, the groups created music and sounds to highlight the comedy slap stick in three short Charlie Chaplin movies.There were also performances from five of the centres which have been involved in the programme.
