TV VET Joe Inglis is bringing his campaign for healthier pets to the Cheshire County Show.

Joe, a regular face on the BBC’s The One Show and ITV’s Daybreak and This Morning, will bring his Vet’s Kitchen Health Scan Roadshow to Cheshire on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 21 and 22.

From his new purpose-built trailer, complete with a television screen showing pet health advice videos, Joe and his team will be offering canine visitors to his stand a health scan.

Joe said: “Using the latest ultrasound scanning technology, the Vet’s Kitchen health scan will give dog owners a unique and accurate insight into their own pet’s state of health and body condition.

“Because we anticipate assessing more than 1,000 dogs during a four-month nationwide tour, we believe the results will provide a longer-term scientific assessment of the health and wellbeing of our canine companions in the UK.”

The former Vets in Practice star and resident vet on BBC One’s Blue Peter will be on hand to give advice on issues such as weight control, joint mobility, digestive and skin problems.
