CELEBRITIES encouraged men to volunteer at a ladies midnight walk in aid of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
More than 300 ladies have signed up for a girl’s night out in support of the Backford-based hospice.
Jemma Hamilton, events fundraiser, said: “We are asking women to encourage the man in their life to put down their remote control, switch off the sports channel or give up a night with the lads and help their local Hospice by marshalling along the six or four-mile routes, helping with car parking or giving out refreshments at the half way point.”
