WREXHAM manager Dean Saunders last night signed Bolton Wanderers youngster Nathan Woolfe on a month’s loan.
The 20-year-old from Manchester is an attacking midfield player who goes straight into the Dragons’ squad for their Blue Square Premier match at Weymouth on Saturday.
Saunders said: “I am very grateful to Gary Megson (Bolton manager) for allowing Nathan to join us.
“The lad is coming here because he believes a run of senior games with us will give him a better chance of breaking into Bolton’s first team.
“He is young and hungry to make a name for himself in the game, he can play on either side of midfield and he is just the type of character we need at the club.”
Woolfe has already made one appearance for Bolton when he came on as a substitute in a Uefa Cup away match with Sporting Lisbon in March this year.
Saunders hopes paperwork is completed in order to also give a debut to striker Patrick Suffo at the weekend.
Defender Ritchie De Laet could miss the Wessex Stadium clash with a groin strain.
