THREE people accused of a series of distraction burglaries across Cheshire have been remanded in custody by magistrates.
The trio were arrested in Carmarthenshire on Friday morning and subsequently charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to rob, along with a 15-year-old boy.
Elisha Jones, 23, of Hywelfa, Wrexham; Leon Lavell, 19, of Fordowen, Wrexham; Jerry Patrick Berry, 23, of Homestead Lane, Wrexham appeared at Chester Magistrates Court yesterday, Monday and remanded until their next hearing Thursday afternoon.
A 15-year-boy, also from Wrexham, will appear before JPs this afternoon (Tuesday).
All four are all suspected of committing distraction burglaries at Glebe Road, Cuddington; Towers Lane, Frodsham, Chapel Lane, Kingsley and Alvanley Road, Helsby on May 5.
In addition, they are accused of similar offences at Clifton Crescent, Frodsham, on April 27 and Upton Lane, Chester, on May 6.
