THE parents of a 19-year-old girl killed when a car driven by her boyfriend collided with a tree have paid emotional tribute to a ‘princess’ who ‘lived life to the full’.

West Cheshire College student Claudia Ella Williams, of Chester, died when a silver Vauxhall Corsa driven by Rick Bromley, 20, hit the tree on School Lane in Guilden Sutton at 9.40pm on Monday, June 24.

The former Guilden Sutton Primary and Christleton High School pupil, who lived with mum Andrea on Pipers Lane, Hoole, was killed at the scene.

Claudia and Rick had been for a meal with dad Nigel and sisters Madeline, 17, and Mathilda, 10, and were on their way to Claudia’s grandmother’s house on School Lane.

Mr Bromley, also a former pupil at Christleton High, escaped with minor bruising but was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital and stayed overnight.

Dozens of floral tributes have been left at the scene by family and friends.

Claudia’s heartbroken mum Andrea said: “We are going to miss her so much. Our lives will never be the same without her. She’ll be forever in our hearts and always live on with us in our memories.”

As a a youngster, Claudia had been a member of Saltney Gymnastics Club and represented Wales.

Claudia was coming to the end of a three-year course in travel and tourism at West Cheshire College in Ellesmere Port.

In a joint statement, the travel and tourism team at West Cheshire College said: “She was a delight to teach and an excellent team player – she always got involved in charity fundraising events here at the college. Claudia will be sadly missed by everyone here.”
