NIGHTINGALE House Hospice is launching its Annual Light up a Life Appeal which celebrates the life and memory of loved ones in the community regardless of any prior connection with the hospice.

The charity is inviting people from all faiths and beliefs to remember a loved one or to honour a friend, relative or colleague by making a donation to sponsor a light on its Christmas trees in the hospice grounds.

A service of remembrance will be held in the hospice grounds on Friday, December 5, to celebrate the memories of loved ones.

A number of services will also be held in the hospice catchment area. Lights lit in memory will shine until the Twelfth Night. A special Book of Honour with the names of all those remembered can be viewed at each service.

Call Eleri Smith on 01978 314292 for further information or visit nightingalehouse.co.uk to download the donation leaflet and see where the local services are being held.
