WREXHAM commuters can now keep up-to-date with the latest travel news through free electronic updates.
The service, named One Step Ahead, has been launched to allow anyone wishing to receive updates on information on buses, trains, cycling or other means of motorised travel.
All users need to do is register their name and e-mail address on a postcard or online to be kept informed via e-mail.
The postcards are available from council offices, libraries and at the Tourist Information Centre.
The information provided will not be passed to third parties and users can unsubscribe at any time.
Wrexham council's transportation and asset management department was on hand at Wrexham Bus Station as part of Euromobility Week to offer travel advice and promote the latest initiatives available to everyone who uses public transport.
Strategic director Paul Roberts said: 'One Step Ahead is a simple yet effective initiative that will help all our residents and visitors to the county borough, whatever their means of transport.
'Our main aim is to encourage the use of public transport, which will ease the congestion on our roads.'
